Basic Brown Rice
Make this rice. And make lots of it at one time. One of the biggest complaints about "Eating Healthy" is that people are pressed for time. We will cook a few cups of it on a weekend day and then fish out portions for a quick snack or meal. The possibilities of what you can do with it are endless! You can use any type, but we like fragrant Basmati or Jasmine Rice! There are many options--cumin, coriander and cinnamon; jalapenos and onion for a Latin flavors; or ginger, garlic and green onion for an Asian flare--you will never get bored with it!
